The classic and inspiring holiday drama, It's A Wonderful Life, is coming to the Houston Family Arts Center! This enduring story of love, life, friendship and hope opens on the Garza Main Stage, November 27th – December 20th.

Directed by Rachel Landon, this stage adaptation of the screenplay by Frances Goodrich, Albert Hackett, Frank Capra, and Jo Swerling is a faithful, fast-moving stage adaptation of the classic film and is not only a joyful Christmas tale -- it's the gorgeous love story of George and Mary Bailey, a vivid portrait of the Greatest Generation, a descent into the darkest hour of a man trapped by circumstance, and a powerful meditation on what makes a meaningful life.

BooTown Theatre presents the next installment of the River Bottom Series, a shadow puppet play called Death and a Rollercoaster.

In the late 90’s a small Texas town was shocked to find one of its own burning in a backyard. Those responsible rode rollercoasters in the summer heat as authorities searched. A young man quickly confessed but the surrounding events left a mark on the small community of friends.
