Before Jim Parsons inspired a nation of Sheldon Cooper fans on The Big Bang Theory, he lit up Houston stages with his old pals from Infernal Bridegroom Productions, most of whom now comprise The Catastrophic Theatre. It is our honor to celebrate our favorite local boy made good and the medium that made him famous: TV!

Break out your watercolors, sidewalk chalk, and play-dough and join local arts organization BooTown for their fundraiser It’s Still Alive? After the success of BooTown’s previous fundraisers, It’s Alive followed by It’s Alive, Again, the group has brought back the interactive evening where patrons are invited to create and buy great art for a good cause, for the third time!

CLIZIA- A PLAY BY NICCOLO MACHIAVELLI
The Classical Theatre Company (CTC) closes its 2009-2010 Douglas Earle Johnston Reading Series at the Brazos Bookstore with Clizia by Niccolo Machiavelli. Like the majority of the plays CTC has selected to produce in its reading series, this play for whatever reason, has been essentially lost to history. Rarely produced despite being wildly funny, Clizia blossoms into a tale of plots stacked upon counterplots interwoven with themes of confused identity.
