Does this sound like a Mildred's Umbrella Theater Company production? Ah, yes. Especially when the author of this Dracula is none other than Mac Wellman, the second-coming of Gertrude Stein and the master of “syntactical scat.” The show is not until October at 1415 Bar and Grill.

Vagabondage Improv Comedy Troupe has been selected to participate in the Upright Citizens Brigade Annual Del Close Improv Marathon in New York from Friday, July 30 to August 1st.

The marathon is named for Del Close, the driving force behind
improvisational comedy in Chicago for over 30 years, influencing Bill Murry, Tina Fey, Mike Meyers, John Belushi, Chris Farley and the Upright Citizens Brigade to name a few...

Playwright to Direct

The Alley Theatre will venture on another co-production with the Cleveland Playhouse in Ken Ludwig’s world-premiere of Leading Ladies. The playwright, best known for his plays Crazy for You and Lend Me a Tenor, is set to direct the piece. Theatreport has just learned that Broadway musical theatre actor Brent Barrett will star in the production…
