This year, Bobbindoctrin company members and local artists will present new live works of puppetry, along with short films from national and international puppetry artists, distributed by Heather Henson's Handmade Puppet Dreams...

Aside Productions is proud to present two productions this Winter that will have something for everybody: Altar Boyz and A Piece Of My Heart.


Altar Boyz, directed by Diane Goldsmith*, is a foot-stomping, rafter-raising, musical comedy about a fictitious Christian boy-band on the last night of their national "Raise the Praise" tour. The Boyz are five all-singing, all-dancing heartthrobs from Ohio:

The Greeks -Back by Popular Demand: Prometheus Bound by Aeschylus

Houston, TX –After last season's successful production of Antigone, the Classical Theatre Company (CTC) kicks off their third public reading series with another Greek classic- Prometheus Bound by Aeschylus. This tale of lustful gods, fair maidens, and lowly tricksters will be performed as a staged reading on Thursday, November 12th at 7:00 P.M. at the Brazos Bookstore. The reading is free and open to the public.
